The Longmorn 1996/2024 matured for an impressive 27 years in an Oloroso Sherry Butt and was bottled on February 12, 2024. With an alcohol content of 57.8% vol and limited to just 534 bottles, this whisky offers an intense tasting experience. The Andalusian cask imparts rich nuances of dark fruits and a profound complexity, further enhanced by its long maturation.

This whisky is uncolored and non-chill filtered, highlighting its authenticity and purity.

  • Longmorn - Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    Die Longmorn Distillery ist eine Single Malt Scotch Whisky-Brennerei in Longmorn, Moray, im Whiskyanbaugebiet Strathspey in Schottland.

    Die Longmorn Distillery Company wurde 1893 von John Duff, Charles Shirres und George Thomson gegründet.

    Duff war ein ehemaliger Manager der Glendronach Distillery und der Bon Accord Distillery in Aberdeen und der Gründer der Glenlossie Distillery sowie an erfolglosen Destillerien in Kapstadt und den USA beteiligt.

    Die Longmorn Distillery nahm ihre Produktion im Dezember 1894 auf. Drei Jahre später baute John Duff neben Longmorn die Benriach Distillery, aber beide wurden 1898 vom Zusammenbruch des Großhandelsunternehmens Pattison, Elder and Co. betroffen.

    Duff wurde durch den Zusammenbruch ruiniert, und die Longmorn Distilleries Company Ltd. ging durch eine Vielzahl von Eigentümern.
