DESCRIPTION
Nach der Veröffentlichung des hervorragenden ersten Fettercairn 16 Year Old und des zweiten Fettercairn 16 Year Old im Jahr 2021 brachte die Brennerei im Jahr 2022 eine dritte Abfüllung auf den Markt.

Diese Abfüllung aus dem Jahr 2022 reifte in einer Kombination aus First Fill Oloroso-Fässern, Second Fill Oloroso-Fässern, Pedro Ximenez-Fässern und Ex-Bourbon-Fässern.

Das Ergebnis ist ein konzentrierter, komplexer Highland-Malt mit Noten von altem Holz, tropischen Früchten und Feigen. Am Gaumen gesellen sich Noten von Kakao, Gewürzen und buttrigem Gebäck hinzu, bevor ein langer Abgang mit einem Hauch von Zitrusöl und Espresso folgt.
