Auch in diesem Jahr wurde der ElsBurn Cosy Winter VIII exklusiv für Kirsch Import Kunden abgefüllt. Der Hercynian Single Malt ist Weihnachtsmarkt in flüssig: Mit Rauchschinken und malziger Süße, Würze und Rosinen sowie dunkler Schokolade und Mandeln erinnert der winterliche Dram sensorisch an weihnachtliche Genuss-Highlights.

Cosy Winter verströmt Gemütlichkeit – ganz wie der Name verspricht. Für das warme Rotbraun der achten Exklusiv-Abfüllung ist eine Kombination aus Süd- und Süßweinfässern verantwortlich. Malaga-, Marsala-, Portwein- und Sherryfässer wählten die Harzer Brenner für ihren Winterwhisky aus.

Für Lagerfeuer-Feeling haben sie diese mit „gently woodsmoked“, also leicht rauchigem Hercynian Single Malt befüllt. Der Dram für die kalte Jahreszeit wurde in natürlicher Form – ohne Färbung und Kühlfiltration – sowie in aromatischer Stärke von 52,3% vol. in 1.430 Flaschen abgefüllt.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 Ein Hauch Rauch und das Aroma von Räucherschinken werden durch süße, malzige Noten ausbalanciert.
Gaumen
Palate		 Kraftvoll und vollmundig mit dunklen Früchten und Rosinen, der Süße von Mandeln und etwas Zuckerwatte. Dazu kommen dunkle Schokolade und leichter, würziger Rauch.
Abgang
Finish		 Lang und harmonisch klingt der Whisky mit Frucht, Eichenwürze und Schokolade aus.
