DESCRIPTION

Dieser gut gelagerte, sherrygetränkte Ardbeg ist ein Highlight aus der Darkness-Reihe, die drei verschiedene Ardbeg-Ausführungen umfasst. Mit einer Reifezeit von beeindruckenden 24 Jahren, einschließlich eines Finishs in einem Pedro Ximénez-Sherry-Oktavfass, hat dieser Whisky ein enormes Maß an saftiger Frucht und Sherry-Süße angenommen.

Ein Oktavfass (mit einem Fassungsvermögen von etwa 50 Litern) hat eine größere Oberfläche im Verhältnis zum Volumen, was bedeutet, dass mehr Geschmack in den Whisky gelangt als üblich. Dies ist eine limitierte Abfüllung von nur 101 Flaschen.
